Lake Tubes

Float Eureka offers NRS Star Tubes both for sale (along with an electric car pump) or rent (along with a hand pump that comes with the rental). These Tubes are a great, affordable way to swim, chill out on the shore , and experience summertime at one of the great lakes that surround Eureka Springs! Tube rentals include an inflatable tube and hand pump, they do not include a life jacket. Please note that there are no ‘tubing rivers’ around Eureka; the White River is too cold to tube and we do not offer shuttles for tube rentals.

Below is a list of the best locations in Eureka Springs to explore with a tube rental from Float Eureka! Want to learn more? Check our blog post about the Top Places to Tube in Eureka Springs!

  • Beaver Dam Site Park: Beaver Lake is 15 minutes from Eureka Springs. The Beaver Dam area may be the most convenient and one of the best parts of this clear, freshwater lake to swim. Beaver Dam Site Park is near Beaver Dam and has picnic tables and shoreline to swim, but there are other great spots to picnic and hang out by the lake in the same vicinity; drive over toward Beaver Lake Dive Park and look for day use sites along the way. The Corps of Engineers may charge a small fee for use.

  • Beaver, Arkansas: Beaver is a small town on the banks of the White River/Table Rock Lake located 10 minutes from Eureka Springs. With abandoned train trestles, the yellow “Little Golden Gate” historic bridge, and a riverside trail and park, this is a hidden gem and a great place to chill out on a tube.

  • Lake Leatherwood: Located within Eureka Springs city limits and super convenient, Lake Leatherwood is surrounded by trees and is bordered by a great hiking trail that completes a loop around the lake. Rent some tubes from Float Eureka, hike along the trail to get down toward the deeper water near Lake Leatherwood Dam, and relax in this peaceful lake (motor boats are not allowed here).

  • Starkey Marina & Starkey Public Use Area: Starkey Marina has motor boat rentals, pizza, and is a Beaver Lake Marina. Just down the road at the Starkey Public Use area is a public pavilion and parking lot and some good shoreline to swim in an open part of the lake and to launch a tube. You may face fewer crowds at this location as a benefit, but motor boat traffic on the summer weekends on this well-used part of the lake should also be noted!

  • Hogscald Hollow: The best way to explore Hogscald is on an inflatable stand up paddleboard - which is faster and provides a better swim platform than a tube - but a tube can still be a great way to relax, swim, and be part of the party at Hogscald Hollow.
